Vote daily for your favorite organization! Voting begins January 2nd, 2014, and ends at 11:59 PM on Friday, January 31st, 2014.

How did we select the four organizations in the $10,000 nonprofit giveaway?

Compudyne customers nominated their favorite nonprofit organizations serving the communities of Duluth and/or Hibbing, MN.  The top four organizations were selected based on nomination entries to participate in the giveaway.

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.

1. Voting

To vote in the Compudyne 25th Anniversary Non-Profit $10,000 Giveaway (the “$10,000 Nonprofit Giveaway”), access the link to cast your vote in the promotion on the Compudyne Page on Facebook or through compudyne.net. From these pages, you will be able to access the link to vote for one of four (4) Hbbing or Duluth nonprofit organizations you feel is most deserving of a ten thousand dollar ($10,000) donation (the “Donation”). Votes will be accepted from January 2, 2014 through 11:59 pm January 31, 2014 (the “Voting Period”). All votes must be received by 11:59 pm on January 31, 2014. Voting is limited to one (1) vote per person per day during the Voting Period.

2. Voting Eligibility Requirements

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are eighteen (18) years or older, have Internet access and a valid email account.  You do not have to be a Compudyne customer in order to vote in the $10,000 Nonprofit Giveaway.

3. Determination of Winners

Each voter will be asked to choose from among a list of nonprofit nominees selected by Compudyne that the voter believes should be awarded the Donation. Each voter can designate only one (1) charity from the list of nominees per person per day. One (1) winning organizations will be determined based on the number of eligible votes received on compudyne.net or on Compudyne’s Facebook page. The nominee that receives the greatest number of eligible votes will be awarded the Donation from Compudyne, subject to compliance with these Official Terms and Conditions. The winning organization will be announced at a Winner’s reception on February 19th, 2014.  As a condition of receiving the Donation, the winning nonprofits consent to the Sponsors’ use of their names and trademarks for purposes of publicizing the Sponsors and the $10,000 Nonprofit Giveaway in any media without limitation or further compensation. The Donation contribution is nontransferable and non-assignable.

4. Sponsors

The $10,000 Nonprofit Giveaway is sponsored by Compudyne. Sponsors will not be liable for lost, late, stolen, undelivered or misdirected votes or for computer or technical errors, malfunctions, viruses, data transmission problems, printing errors, traffic congestion on the Internet or on any website, or for other problems that interfere with the voting process in any way. All decisions of the Sponsors will be final and binding in all respects. Sponsors will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Terms and Conditions or in other materials or announcements relating to the $10,000 Nonprofit Giveaway.

5. Release

By entering, participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Donation.

6. Additional Information

For name of the winning nonprofit (available after February 19, 2014) send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Compudyne, c/o Marketing Department, $10,000 Nonprofit Giveaway Winner, 330 Cedar Street, St. Paul, MN 55101 or visit compudyne.net. The Sponsors reserve the right to terminate, cancel, suspend or modify this program if they determine in their sole discretion that tampering, fraud, technical failures, or other acts or events beyond their reasonable control have compromised the fairness or integrity of the voting process or the $10,000 Nonprofit Giveaway.
