St. Paul, Minn. – Compudyne is pleased to welcome Grant Burns, of Rosemount, MN, as a Solutions Architect. In his new role, Grant will provide pre-sales consulting, infrastructure design, solutions implementation and project management in Compudyne’s St. Paul location.
Grant comes to Compudyne with over 10 years of experience developing and supporting technology solutions for business customers. Prior to joining Compudyne, Grant was a Systems Engineer at Sovran. The last four years of his career have been focused on designing and implementing virtualization solutions.
Grant’s background includes consulting and systems administration, route/switching, storage, Active Directory, Exchange and server and desktop virtualization. Grant brings extensive implementation experience and credentials to Compudyne, including CompTIA A+ Certified Service Professional (A+), Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security), Citrix Certified Administrator for XenApp 5 for Windows Server 2003 (CCA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Administrator (MCITP: EA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 Datacenter Administration (VCAP-DCA), VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 Datacenter Design (VCAP-DCD) and VMware Certified Professional 4 and 5 (VCP), among others.
